Transamerica

I worked as a Software Engineer contractor at Transamerica through Apex Systems, implementing Angular(8+) web components for transamerica.com, helping to maintain existing front-end code on the site. Unit testing, cross-browser support and mobile first implementation are also taken into account

While Angular Material is the UI library developed by Google for visual consistency, Transamerica utilizes its own UI library named Cardinal. Once components have been tested and approved by the various stakeholders on the team (design, QA, development, business analytics), and the component is included in the current sprint release cycle, the components are then deployed to the production site.
